'where bodies of water meet' 2025

A small fountain releases a slow, steady flow of water into a glass vessel. Powered by a pump, the stream travels through natural rubber and organically shaped glass tubes, rising back up towards an image on the wall. It shows the artist lying beside a shallow pool, her arms embracing the water. The stream passes this scene and descends into another image, taken from a photograph, where the artist faces the viewer, wearing earrings made of mirror. Behind her, two figures (her partner and her grandmother) watch quietly.

Before the water returns to the vessel, it moves through a final glass tube, held aloft by a glass finger. But even the finger cannot contain the flow; the glass seems to dissolve into water itself.

Along the edge of the images, an inscription reads:
